Patriotic Pizza

I’m easing back on talking about sweets a bit to talk about pizza. In my first post here, I briefly mentioned how my cousin had made a “pizza” for me, as a child. It consisted of a saltine, ketchup, and American cheese. It did not taste good (to be fair, he was a recent Taiwanese immigrant at the time).  As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more accepting of differently-styled pizzas, and food in general. Once you realize how versatile different ingredients and foods can be, the world opens up just a little bit more, and the kitchen becomes more full of possibilities.

Putting the extra effort into making designs on pizza for your loved ones earns you bonus points. If you have time, you should do it. It’s totally worth it.
