Cookie Cups

After my last post about edible dishes, like magic, I stumbled across this:

First you drink the coffee, then you eat the cup! The Cookie Cup is designed by Venezuelan designer Enrique Luis Sardi together with Italian coffee company Lavazza.
The cup is made of pastry covered with a special icing sugar, which works as an insulator, and makes the cup waterproof hence allowing you to use the cup and then appreciate its taste.

Is it true? Have any of you seen this with your very own eyes? I want to sample it. Then, I want to learn how to make it. It looks glorious.

Absolutely unreal! I would love a cookie cup!

  2. How in the world does one make one of these? I feel like I need it! It’s perfect because then you’re cookie is perfectly sagging, with a little crunch on the outside. Oh maaaan!
